1

Day 1: Love

Love one another, as I have loved you. John 13:34

Love is the first fruit of the Spirit, and it means caring for others even when it is hard. God's love flows through us to everyone we meet.

Try it: Do one loving act for someone today.
2

Day 2: Joy

The joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

Joy is a deep gladness that comes from God, not from things going perfectly. Even on hard days we can have joy because God is with us.

Try it: Name three things that make you joyful and thank God for them.
3

Day 3: Peace

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. John 14:27

Peace is a calm, settled heart, even when things around us are noisy or scary. God gives peace when we trust Him.

Try it: Take a slow breath and hand one worry over to God.
4

Day 4: Patience

Be patient, bearing with one another in love. Ephesians 4:2

Patience means waiting and staying kind, even when it is hard. The Spirit helps us not give up or get grumpy.

Try it: Wait for something today without complaining.
5

Day 5: Kindness

Be kind and compassionate to one another. Ephesians 4:32

Kindness is doing good for others without being asked. Small kind acts can brighten someone's whole day.

Try it: Surprise someone with a kind act.
6

Day 6: Goodness

Let us do good to all people. Galatians 6:10

Goodness is choosing what is right and pure, even when no one is watching. God helps us do good from the inside out.

Try it: Do the right thing today, even when it is hard.
7

Day 7: Faithfulness

Be faithful, and I will give you life. Revelation 2:10

Faithfulness means being someone others can count on and staying true to God, just as God is always faithful to us.

Try it: Keep a promise you made this week.
8

Day 8: Gentleness

Let your gentleness be evident to all. Philippians 4:5

Gentleness is being calm and tender with others, not rough or harsh. A gentle answer can turn away anger.

Try it: Use a gentle voice, even if someone is upset.
9

Day 9: Self-Control

Like a city with broken walls is a person who lacks self control. Proverbs 25:28

Self-control means saying no to wrong things and yes to what is good. The Spirit helps us control our words and actions.

Try it: Say no to one thing you know you should not do today.
